Me buying CDs is as much about me wanting to support the artist as it is about the personal joy I get from owning them.

To be honest, my reasoning for not liking streaming services over physical copies is selfish. I get that it makes it easier to have a music library online as opposed to walking around with a handful of CDs. Yeah, I know it’s way more convenient I’m not denying that. I’m not rocking with this streaming stuff. It’s been a long time coming, but at least I’m comforted in knowing that the album is here as opposed to still being in development for two years. It’s been there ever since the album came out and every so often I just look at the window tile and contemplate whether to go through with it or not.

In my phone right now, I still have a window open on my browser that contains the download link for the album. I’ve been torturing myself with the three singles whilst flirting with the thought of downloading a zip file. It’s been over a month since Isaiah Rashad’s debut album The Sun’s Tirade came out and I still haven’t listened to it.
